What we believe:

Healing Grace is a church that has fully embraced the New Covenant of grace that is found in Jesus Christ.  The gospel is the truly good news that all of our sins; past, present and future have been entirely paid for by the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross (Hebrews 10:12).  He has set you free from sin and condemnation, leaving you free to live righteously and joyfully in His presence forever!  This is the Gospel, the good news; that God is not mad at us and that everyone who trusts Jesus is free to go to God 24/7 through the “new and living way” of Jesus.  You are dearly loved, deeply blessed, and highly favored.  You can awaken everyday of your life to a great and joyful expectation of God’s goodness coming upon you.

We believe in the Triune God; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  We believe that Jesus is the unique Son of God, who became a flesh and blood person, lived a sinless life, and died on the cross as a sacrifice and payment for the sins of the entire world.  God has reconciled himself to the world (2 Corinthians 5:19).  We need only trust Jesus to reconcile ourselves to God and receive the fullness of blessings under the New Covenant. We believe that God pours out His own Holy Spirit into our hearts to bring healing, spiritual gifts, and power for living. We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God, and the authoritative source and norm for our preaching, our faith, and our life.

There are many other things that could be said in regard to the essentials of the faith, but these are some of the more important elements.  We also know that there are many issues that have traditionally divided Christ's church and that people of great biblical knowledge and deep faith disagree about.  It is our duty toward Christ to be in loving dialogue with one another, keeping our Lord Jesus as our focus, so that we may live in unity and peace.
